Alice Jean Mae (Rissi) O’Brien passed away peaceful on June 1st, 2022.

Her bright eyes, big hugs, huge smile, and loving affection left a lasting impression on those who lives she touched. She had a reputation for her quick wit and sense of humor which would liven any conversation.
Alice was born on April 26th, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, to Henri and Jane (Blyth) Rissi and had four siblings Sarah, Bud, Isabel and Robert.

While still in her teens, Alice and her family moved to Southern California which is where, not too many years later, she would meet the love of her life, Ernie. They married on June 21st, 1952, and after a few moves, they settled in Fullerton, California where they would raise their five children. Her faith was an important part of Alice’s life, and she was extremely active in the local Catholic Church, Saint Juliana.

Alice become successful, first as an Avon representative, then embarked on a career in Real Estate, where she would become an agent, broker and eventually a manager.

In 1995 Alice and Ernie moved to Prescott, AZ where she continued her career in Real Estate, enjoying their many friends and family. She also remained very active in the Catholic Church at Sacred Heart in Prescott, AZ.

Alice was also an avid traveler, taking trips with her husband Ernie every chance they could get. From trips across the country, to the many cruises and tours of Europe, where they enjoyed the many cultures, landscapes, and architectures of every local.
Her favorite city was Paris.

The family will always remember her as the most loving, caring and giving spouse, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that anyone could hope to have. Alice now joins her beloved husband, Ernie, dancing and singing into eternity.

Alice is survived by her brother, Bud (Dot) Rissi, her children Dan (Karin) O’Brien, Randy (Shoiwlin) O’Brien, Tom (Haven) O’Brien, Maryjane (Doug) Davis and Sharon O’Brien in addition to her twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
