Alex Samuel Holbrook

Alex Samuel Holbrook passed away April 26, 2009, in Flagstaff, Ariz. He was 20 years old. Alex was a young man full of joy and charm. He brought out a smile in everyone. He enjoyed all sports and was a natural-born athlete who could lead any team on or off the field. Everyone looked up to Alex and saw the desire in his eyes. Alex enjoyed the outdoors, his experience at Yellowstone National Park and playing his guitar. Alex is survived by his mother, Patricia Holbrook and companion J.B. Jordan of Prescott, Ariz.; his father, John W. Holbrook and stepmom Sandra L. Holbrook of Peoria, Ariz.; his brother Jacob G. Holbrook of Flagstaff, Ariz.; stepsisters Samantha and Lauren; stepbrother Tommy; grandparents Ronald and Shelba Reynolds; aunts and uncles Dawn and Bryce Gerhart, Heather Reynolds and Art Ranger, Kim Kemp, Janet Bennette, Janie and Harold Bhudy; and nieces and nephews Rachel, Aaron, Nicholas, Kristina, Jordan, Art Jr., Lindsay and Molly.      Alex was preceded in death by grandmothers, Effie Hardy and Betty Scott; grandfather William H. Holbrook; and uncles Mitch Reynolds, Mike Kemp and Jeff Holbrook.
