Albert Wesley Isbell

Albert Wesley Isbell, was born Nov. 30. 1917 in Fresno, California. He died January 11, 2006 in Dewey, Arizona; after a brave battle with cancer and a full life of 88 years.      Albert lived in California, Nevada, and Arizona. He was proud of his hard work over the many years in heavy construction, building many of the roads and open pit mines in the West with Isbell Construction Company. After retiring Albert and Harriett enjoyed many years of exploring the country together in their motor home, while living in Phoenix, Sedona and Dewey, Arizona.      Family and friends were very important to him. He was strong willed about his beliefs. In later years he spent many hours in front of his computer researching various subjects and was always well informed on current events. His e-mails to family and friends were constant and will be missed. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.   Albert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Harriett; their three children; Mary Jane (Paul) Schmidt, Park City, Utah; Thomas William (Patt) Isbell, Prescott and William Wesley (Annette) Isbell, Phoenix, his sister; Helen (Barney) Fischer, Ocla, Florida ; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.   The family will receive friends and neighbors 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15 at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home corner of Cortez and Carleton, Prescott. His memory will be honored at services at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, at the Westside Christian Church, 5860 N.
