Pete Hernandez, 89, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at his home in Prescott, Arizona. He was born February 17, 1917 in Winslow, Arizona; the son of Francisco and Maria (Gonzelas) hernandez. Pete is survived by Carmen, his loving and caring wife of 56 years. His children, Peter Hernandez of Carson, California, Roger Hernandez of Long Beach, California, yvonne and Tim Bullock of Paso Robles, California, Denis Hernandez of Carson, California, Larry and Cathy Barnes of Bakersfield, California, Victor and Rosemarie Barnes of Parump, Nevada, Don and Rosemary Barnes of Rim Rock, Arizona and Richard Barnes of El Mirge, Arizona. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 25th at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home corner of Cortez And Carleton Streets in Prescott. A Scriptural Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 26th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott with burial to follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Prescott.
