Joette "Jodie" Goldman

Joette (Jodie) Ann Flynn Goldman was born in La jolla, CA and died peacefully in her sleep on September 18, 2018 in Prescott, AZ. The world is a sadder place without her.

Jodie is survived by her husband Lewis, whom she met on October 15, 1967 and married seven months later. She brought to his life love, strength, hope and clarity. 

She adored her two younger sisters, Michelle (Arthur) Veyna and Leslie (Joseph) Laurente who also survive her and miss her every day. Other immediate survivors include her beloved nieces and nephew, Lizzie, Gabby and Brendan, along with many friends and relatives from all over the world, lovingly gathered from a life of travel and an “army brat” childhood.

Jodie was predeceased by her loving parents Col. Stanley and Norma Flynn.

Jodie is remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit and forthright character. She was greatly admired for her reverence for books, reading and libraries, to which she devoted much of her personal and professional life. Most of all everyone will miss her warm wonderful smile, that light is out now … in all but memory.

A celebration of Jodie’s life will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in the Arizona Room of the Hassayampa Inn, 122 E. Gurley St., Prescott, AZ from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. All who wish to pay their respects to Jodie are welcome.
