Jason William Zeidler

Our beloved eldest son, brother and friend, Jason William Zeidler, 40, a fourth generation Arizonan, was born March 2, 1978 in Phoenix, at Good Samaritan Hospital, which his great-grandfather helped establish in 1911. He will always be in the hearts of his parents, Jack and June Zeidler, and his devoted siblings, Jordan, Justin and Jenny. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mel and Carol Goodson, Bob and Betty Zeidler, and uncles John Goodson and Jimmy Goodson.

Jason was a graduate of Madison Meadows and Brophy College Preparatory, where he met many of his lifelong friends. He continued his education at Northern Arizona University, living all four years with several of them. Besides Arizona, he had lived and worked in Louisiana, Oklahoma, Oregon and California but his favorite, by far, was Montana, ‘The Last Best Place”. Jason was a kind, witty, thoughtful man with a wise, sensitive soul. He was passionate about writing, leaving behind many journals and poems. He was also a creative artist and talented musician. Jason will be remembered as a loyal friend with a big heart, who is personified by the words of Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Jason had that uncanny gift to make people feel good and leave them smiling.

Jason was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his many friends and family. We rejoice in the time we had with him.His memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, 5510 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85012.
