Dianne Cahill, age 61, left this world Thursday, May 22, 2008 at her home in Prescott, Arizona. She was born March 19, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to William and Dorothy Cahill. She attended Bishop Ready High School and The Ohio State University (GO BUCKS). Dianne moved to South Florida in 1979 with her best friend, Sheri Herman-Masse. It was there that she met her soul mate, Kevin Evans in 1984. Dianne came home to Prescott in 1991 where she immediately became part of an amazing group of people who chose one another to be their family. She had a quick, razor sharp wit and a compassionate heart. Dianne was loving and outgoing, was loved by all who knew her- she never met a stranger. Dianne enjoyed camping, canoeing, photography, and exploring back country Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. She was also a singer possessed with a voice that was suited to a wide variety of joyful noise. She sang at many occasions and was a member of the Ramblers and Big Dog and the Micro Beez. All that knew her will miss her terribly. We hope to catch up with her again on the distant shore and sit around the campfire listening to stories of her new and amazing adventures. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by Kevin Evans, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Rosemarie Cahill, sister Jeanette Cahill, niece Carrie (Charlie King) Gokey, great niece Melanie Gokey, all of Columbus, Ohio. Nephew Scott ( Diana Carlson) Cahill, great niece Adrienne (Carlson) Chitwood of Olympia, Washington. Aunts Leonore (Charles) Holt, Joan Taynor, Judy Cahill and Mary Cahill. Many cousins and an extended family of friends too numerous for mention here.
