Dear Roy, Cheryl, and Donna,
My thoughts are with all of you and all the family members who are suffering the loss of their spouse, mother, friend, or relation, Marian Barton.
My recollections of Marian are of a warm, loving, intelligent woman...and also through the words of her step-daughter Cheryl who loved her very much.
I am so sorry for your loss, Roy. You have been so lucky to have had such a wonderful friend and companion. You must miss her very much.
Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear Donna, Cheryl and Roy, We are so sorry to learn of your loss of a dear woman in your lives. She loved life and surely did know how to live it. We can not imagine her leaving with anything undone or not experienced: a loving husband and family, a world traveller, water and snow skiier, Bridge expert, -- anything left to do? Oh, yes sky diving!
What a wonderful woman.

Dear family, and especially Roy,
We are so sorry that you have had to say good-bye to your best friend and love of 40 years. (Also mother, aunt grandmother good friend!) It was wonderful to read about her full and inspiring life. Thank you to Donna for sending the information to the Barton family so that we could learn a bit more about your lives, and your dear wife.
May our wonderful Lord give you ease and comfort in the coming days, weeks and months, with sweet memories to lift you up, and warm embraces from your family and friends. Roy, I remember you very well from the reunion a few years ago, and send my love, too.
Kristen Talbot Anderson
(J.R. Barton's granddaughter, second daughter of Mary Barton and Tom Talbot.)
